Upright Meaning
Hope returns. After difficulty — perhaps even after the storm of The Tower — The Star appears as a sign that you are being renewed and guided. Your faith is being restored. The universe is offering healing, inspiration, and a quiet reassurance that things are moving in the right direction.
Reversed Meaning
Hopelessness, disconnection from faith, or the inability to receive hope when it is being offered. You may be too close to the darkness to see the light that is present.
Symbolism & Story
A naked woman kneels at the edge of a pool under an open sky crowded with stars — one large, seven smaller. She pours water from two pitchers: one into the pool (the unconscious), one onto the land (the conscious world). The water flows in both directions simultaneously, nourishing everything.
